The Costa Brava is a steep and irregular piece of coast in Catalonia of about 200, from Port Bou on the French border to the mouth of La Toder in the town of Blanes. Torroella de Montgri
This charming town, situated at the foot of the massif of Montgrí (the Montgri is a small mountain with a castle that was never fully constructed, but with its walls and four cylindrical towers dominating the landscape ), became a royal town in the thirteenth century. In its medieval center, you can visit the Gothic church of Sant Genis. Its main beach of 1000 meters is shallow and a moderate swell great for sea bathes making it suitable for all familia. Pals
Pals city, with its intricate medieval cobblestone streets and perfectly preserved buildings (walls, castles and Gothic and Romanesque churches), is one of the most visited area of Costa Brava. The most interesting sites: the Tower of the Hours (Romanesque tower with a small Gothic bell tower), Plaza Mayor and the Gothic Church of Sant Pere (built with the remains of the old castle Pals). Begur
Begur is a charming city where towering forested mountains plunge directly into the sea. As in other locations in Costa Brava, this particularity form countless beaches and secluded coves with colorful cliffs where landscape tourism reaches the higest level. Palafrugell
Initially a town dedicated to the cork industry (which was exported worldwide primarily as cork stoppers), today Palafrugell has become an important tourist destination in high season. It has a picturesque coastline (bays and small beaches). To visit, the Museum will cork and close to there, the Botanical Gardens of Cap Roig and Sant Sebastia Lighthouse at the top of the mountain the same name. Each year in July, is celebrated the traditional Habaneras recital of Calella de Palafrugell.

Palamós

San Feliu de Guixols
This city, like other at Costa Brava combines summer proposals with an exciting mix of historic and cultural objetives. Thus it can visited the Monastery of Sant Feliu de Guixols, a building complex which combines parts from different remodeling made throughout history. Among the most important aspects is the remains of Porta Ferrada, the Gothic Church, Arch of St. Benet and the Chapel of Sant Elm, eighteenth century with its balcony. Moreover, also to visit is the Pedralta at the border with Playa de Aro, about 1000 tons of stone, being for long time the European largest tilting stone. Unfortunately, this natural monument lost tilting ability after being repositioned after a storm.

Tossa de Mar
Tossa Bay offers an excellent beach for swimming. Continuing south on the beach there is a hill with a medieval walled place (Vila Vella), with seven round towers built in the twelfth century. From over there have a unique view over the bay of Tossa and the city. Within Vila Vella is a museum with archaeological collections in the region, as well as exhibitions of paintings and sculpture. As a curiosity, Tossa de Mar was the first self-declared city, antibullfighting in Spain, an example soon followed by other cities.

Lloret de Mar

Blanes
Blanes is a tourist town that lies at the foot of the hill of Sant Joan (where still remains the homonym castle), known because of its coves and sandy beaches, surrounded mountains, of incredible beauty. Its most famous beaches: Cala Bona (or Cala de Sant Francesc) surrounded by mountains and beautiful natural environment, Sabanell beach (the largest), the beach of Blanes in the center of town, with its fine sand and the Punta de Santa Anna, a rocky point with stretches of gravel, a place visited by diving enthusiasts.
